Since I have been out I have graduated Basic Law Enforcement Training Course and am waiting to start my new job. Listen to commercials for 10 minutes and you'll hear "over" tons of times when people mean "more than." Every person has their "thing;" that's mine.
-But contrary to the last point, I don't judge and don't scare easily. If English and correct language aren't your thing, I don't care. Everybody is great at something, and everybody places an importance on something.
-I love writing. Few days go by where I don't write something ... a poem, a short story, etc. I used to write for newspapers. Now, I'm trying to learn to be an editor.
-Toilet paper should definitely go over, not under. :-p
-Snakes and spiders scare me like nothing else ever will. They're my few phobias.
-I don't have a favorite number (20 is the closest thing to it), but I DON'T like the number 3.
-Sweet tea is better than any alcohol.

-Adult cartoons are great. By that, I mean Family Guy, South Park, etc. They're hilarious.

So, there's the "mechanical" description of who I am and what I'm looking for. I suppose I can add a little about myself in my own words. I moved out of the house soon after I turned 16 to attend the NC School of Science & Math, and was pretty much wholly self-sufficient from then on. Graduated from there in '03, and enrolled in UNC @ Chapel Hill. Worked all kinds of odd and random jobs and work-studies to pay my way through college (well, minus loans), and graduated from there in '06 with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science. Along the way, I got married to my "high school sweetheart", a couple of days after I turned 20.

Yes, I'm divorced. I know that's a deal-breaker for some. I myself never envisioned that I would one day be calling myself "divorced". The idea that one-half of all marriages ended in divorce astonished me. But alas, here I am. There's no huge drama-filled story behind it -- we simply both came to a mutual decision that we could each be happier elsewhere. If you want to know more, feel free to ask.

Anyways, back to the story of me. After the divorce (in '07), I moved back to my hometown. My parents were generous enough to let me move into the extra room temporarily. Since then, I've bounced around a few more random jobs (seasonal and temp jobs), until I landed my current (full-time, permanent) one, which I've been at for close to a year now. Just your typical 9-5 (or in this case, 7:30-4:30).

On a typical evening, I'm usually at home, or somewhere nearabouts in the neighborhood. I spend my free time playing video games, making some side cash (or trying to) playing online poker, watching sports (love playing as well, but haven't gotten to do that much lately), watching the small handful of TV shows that keeps my attention, playing poker or other card or board games with the family and neighbors, or helping to run an online MUD (text-based game) that I'm an administrator of. There's a ton of other things I enjoy -- everything from the outdoors to the theatre and everything in between -- but most of it has been rather scarce the past couple of years since moving back to the middle of nowhere.

As far as for what I'm actually looking for in a partner...if you can make it to the end of the flowchart posted above, then well, I don't think there's really much else to say. But really, the only thing I'm truly looking for in a partner is one thing: kindness. And that's pretty much it. I'm not saying that you shouldn't be able to give and take a little friendly ribbing, but if you're not kind to the people around you on an everyday basis, or if you think your wants and needs matter more than everyone else's, then sooner or later, it's probably going to get on my nerves. Which is, well, pretty hard to do in the first place.

I did go to college for two years after graduating a year early from high school. Told you I was driven. However, unforeseeable circumstances come up in a way they always do, and I had to leave. Part of me does have some interest in finishing my degree but the truth was, that piece of paper was never all that important to me. I don't need it for validation - I know I'm smart and I learn on my own without someone telling me how to interpret something. I was an English major and bio too, but with bio (unlike English) there is no debate on what's absolute right and wrong.

I love acting. I love the chance to figure out another person and become someone else, even if it's just for a short period of time. It's such a better way to learn about who people are than psychology - and that's not a dig because at one point I totally considered it as a career.

i lived in stafford Va for most of my life. i joined the Marines and went to boot camp in November 2008. i graduated in febuary and went to marine combat training in may. after 2 months there i was on my way to pensicola florida. on the bus ride there i got a text video from a guy sleeping with my girlfriend of 4 years. after that, ive had trust issues since then. we were getting engaged and i never forgave her for that.

im now stationed at cherry point, i work on jets, in a composite shop. we dont have much work nowadays, cause my shop and my team are awesome. i should be promoted in the spring, i just need 5 mci's (classes), a better pft physical fitness test score, my combat fitness score is perfect. and i need high proficiency and conduct scores, which should be easy, cause i work my ass off. i recently had a date who ended up being completely psychotic and told my Commanding Officer that the marine corps birthday ball is a waste of time. so yeah, never heard the end of that one

i dont know what to say about my self except that im calm i have a great sence of humor and i love to have fun any way posible. if you want to know about me you know where to find me so dont hesitate to ask me any thing you want

I hate self analyzing. But I guess I'll just give a quick summary. I'm a Marine. That pretty much sums up my life for all the time my job gives me. To go into more detail, I'm not your average Marine, so please don't automatically stereotype me. I'm sure you think I'm bs'ing you, but I'm not. I'm sure you'd be able to tell if you just messaged me a couple times.

I guess other than that I'm your average type of person. I have my favorite things to do, and I always love hanging out, but then again I also love doing nothing/sleeping. So I'm not one of those "I planned breakfast at 8, shopping at 9, going to the movies at 10, lunch at 1230, going to the beach at 3, going out to dinner at 6, maybe a little exercise at 8. After that we can watch some tv and then go to bed". No- If I have anything big going on- like going shooting, or going to the beach, or going to a movie- I'm not going to so overfill my day with "activities" that I'm all worn and I'm always rushing to do stuff. I like doing stuff at my own pace.

I'm not really good at writing about myself, its so much easier for you to just ask. but I guess I'll hit the high points, I'm 24, I consider myself to be pretty smart, I'm in pretty good shape (marines), and most of the time I know what I want and how to get it. I love to read, I watch a lot of movies, like cars, anything else you want to know just ask :)

Hey I love watching sports football, baseball, college ball, hockey, etc... I love to play them even more! Other than that just hanging out at home cooking something up. Hi there. My name is Jonathan. I moved back here to NC a few years ago. I have since made it my permanent residence. I enjoy living near the ocean. even though I don't get there anywhere near as often as I'd Like to. I 'm not very good at talking about myself but here it goes anyway. I am not much into sports unless it involves an engine and four tires. I like pretty much every genre of music, literally. (If you ever see my music collection you would understand). Um, I like pretty much any type of movie, so long as it is not to gory... House of 1000 corpses... not really my style. What else... I'm not really into the club scene, but a night out with some friends at the bar is cool. I am just as comfortable, if not more so, spending a quiet evening at home or just having a dinner and movie date. As for all the activities that are more fun when more than two people participate, I am down for pretty much whatever... bowling, pool, mini-golf, even a night at the house playing cards or a board game. It's all good. I'll try anything once as long as it's legal and I don't sustain any life threatening injuries. I am an easy going guy, like to have fun. I have 3 years invested in the Marine Corps but there is more to me than that-like this big empty void that needs to be filled with .. the things that only a beautiful woman can bring. I miss that kind of fun, ya know? Just been so busy with work and the every day routine, I want to shake it up a little.

Not one for self summaries. I'm 25, a Vet Tech, love animals and eventually want to be able to back to school for a degree in something medical whether it be with animal studies or people (we're all animals really). Currently taking care of my nephew, who means the world to me. I like to go out, not necessarily to get wasted and not remember what happened but hey that can be fun too.
